The unit is also expandable via its integrated CompactFlash type II (CF) and Secure Digital (SDIO) slots, which work with such media as MicroDrives, CF GPS, SD 56k modem cards, and traditional memory cards. And like most Pocket PCs, the iPaq HX2490 supports both wireless WiFi (802.11b) and Bluetooth technologies, while also offering a standard IR port and a USB sync ports.
